problem with textmod - Guild Wars Forums

ihave window7, and textmod doesnt seem to work, ive turned off my firewall+antivirus,

i load all the stuff for textmod, click run, gw lauches, but the outline for the map bounder doesnt appear.

any ideas?

Don't do that. Disabling security is not wise, nor is it necessary for TexMod to function.

correct never EVER do that

what i would advice is check to make sure you formated the texmod correctly and if that doesnt work well just reinstall and add the mods again

You may with some anti-virus programs need to add it to a list of exceptions though...but never outright disable it...

found the problem, i was tryin 2 lauch the gw.exe from the (x86) folder apparently its locked, so i copyed my folder and lauched a copy.

win7 prevents tampering for the programs in those folders. zz
